Contractor Referral List
A referral list was created to aid Plum Creek Village residents in finding reliable contractors in this area. The contractors on this list were all referred by PCV residents. (Our Association does not directly sponsor any of the contractors on the list) If you have a household contractor that you would like added to the list, please use our Contact Us portal and include the contractor's name, contact information and a description of their services. We plan to update this list on a regular basis. CLICK HERE to view that file.
Trash Services, Schedules, Replacement Bins
In the city of Carmel, Republic Services handles weekly trash and recycling pickups. Plum Creek Village pickup is every Monday, with the exception of certain holiday weeks. Visit this link from the City of Carmel to find out more about the Republic holiday schedule, bulk pickups or replacing a worn-out bin.
Receptacles for trash or debris should be stored in your garage or an approved outside location that is screened from view on any street in Plum Creek Village except after 6pm on the evening prior to trash pick-up.
Street Snow Removal
The City of Carmel Street Department is responsible for plowing snow in our community. However, they have guidelines and rules about when and where they salt and/or plow. For detailed information about the City’s policies, visit the City of Carmel’s website.
FYI Medalist Parkway is designated by the city as a secondary street and St. Armands Circle and Marco Point are designated as tertiary.
Sidewalk Snow Removal
The Board encourages all members to be good citizens by keeping sidewalks clear for the safety of those who walk our neighborhood. Please note that the City of Carmel has an ordinance under Article 8 of the Property Maintenance Code pertaining to sidewalk snow removal. It states: “It shall be the duty of every owner of any premises abutting a sidewalk in all parts of the city to remove, or cause to be removed, all accumulated snow and ice from the sidewalk within the right-of-way across the premises and portions of the driveway serving the premises within the right-of-way within 72 hours after snow or ice has ceased to fall or in any way accumulate.” You can view the entirety of the ordinance by following this link.
